I ask because I had an MRI recently for my shoulder. I've got some tears in my rotator cuff muscles which was the basic reason for the MRI but they noted some lesions in the humerus. Given my history they said it was possibly leukemic infiltration or bone infarction. Not sure if that is a serious problem or not. I gather it could be part of degenerative bone disease and age related. Just curious as to whether anyone else has had this.

See another doctor if you think it is important to have it checked. Many of our oncologists/hematology are are overloaded. They care but are just way to busy.š
Hi all, I had previously posted on this pre-transplant for AMML; however, I am 10 months post transplant now and found out yesterday that I have severe osteoporosis at 44 y/o caused by the chemotherapy, radiation, and SCT. If you continue to have bone pain, especially post remission bone pain, ask your doctors for a bone density scan. I will be starting the same treatment next week that my 89 y/o grandmother takes for osteoporosis. Be vigilant about your health and do not accept āNOā for answer. Thank the Lord above for me having a vigilant PCP, an adoring oncology group, and the most amazing SCT team a woman could ask for.

I do joint pain but I am not sure if it is from CLL or what. I do have osteoarthritis and calcific bursitis. Recently had a TKR total knee replacement on the right knee and need the left knee done too! My understanding is it is the osteoarthritis. All I know is I have lots of joint pain but I have been able to manage it. Since I am in stage 0 with CLL, it might be a combination of both issues. I honestly try not to think about it, I just deal with it as it happens and exercise even in pain, it helps to limber up the joints! I hope š you are also able to manage to bone pain too!
Unfortunately, treatment can also cause devastating side affects & other issuesā¦ The Doctors must know everything u experience during treatment & afterā¦ Unfortunately, u need to keep on top of everything as wellā¦ Really, tough when we are spacey, foggyā¦ The bone pain you are explaining is definitely located in Info on Leukemia!!! Both, bone & joint pain are part of this dealā¦ Please donāt delay in getting any lumps checkedā¦ Stay vigilant & Speak upā¦
