I’m sorry that you have started the leukemia journey. But I’m so glad you found this website. We all are on our own leukemia journeys, but we share similar emotions and thoughts and concerns. - Genetic/cytogenetic tests to look for gene or chromosome changes
- Immunophenotyping to analyze proteins on the surface of your cells

It's also common for doctors to rule out other causes of abnormal blood results before landing on a diagnosis, so the process can take a little time.
