I'm almost at my 2 year anniversary of my stem cell transplant (!), I'm still immunosuppressed, and I'm supposed to get the COVID vaccine soon. I was wondering if any stem cell transplant recipients have gotten the vaccine and do they have any side effects? Or anyone who is still immunosuppressed and has gotten the vaccine experienced side effects? I was diagnosed with CLL at the age of 41. My hematologist says 1 in 6 million have CLL at my age. I’ve not met another in my age group with CLL and just curious.
I have yet to see any comment or information offered about TPLL, a form of lukemia. It would be extremely helpful to hear from people who have this diagnosis and who have had treatment with the drug Campath or had a stem cell transplant..
