Effectiveness Of Vaccine While On Alcalabrutinib. ?

Effectiveness Of Vaccine While On Alcalabrutinib. ?

I'm currently on Alcalabrutinib (Calquence) for CLL. All my bloodwork shows I'm in normal ranges for WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, as well as other indicators and am considered in remission for 6 months. Test results were: Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein IgG Index: 0.02 S/CO std range: 0.00 -… read more

Covid Vaccinations

Hi My Leukemia family. Has anyone on our team had a covid vaccine yet? I haven't got the nerve up to take it yet. I'm to afraid of the side effects. I'm afraid it would interfere with my treatment. It's been 13 years since my CML diagnosis. I've been doing very well so far. Stay Safe 😷 Everyone please stay safe 🙌

Has Anyone Who Received A Stem Cell Transplant Gotten The COVID Vaccine?

Has Anyone Who Received A Stem Cell Transplant Gotten The COVID Vaccine?

I'm almost at my 2 year anniversary of my stem cell transplant (!), I'm still immunosuppressed, and I'm supposed to get the COVID vaccine soon. I was wondering if any stem cell transplant recipients have gotten the vaccine and do they have any side effects? Or anyone who is still immunosuppressed and has gotten the vaccine experienced side effects? I'm excited to worry less about getting COVID but I'm nervous about being put in the hospital for side effects of the vaccine. Any insights would be… read more

I Would Like To Hear From Anyone Who Has Been Diagnosed With TPLL.

I have yet to see any comment or information offered about TPLL, a form of lukemia. It would be extremely helpful to hear from people who have this diagnosis and who have had treatment with the drug Campath or had a stem cell transplant..
