Huntington Beach, CA

It has been two years since my bone marrow transplant. Prior to the transplant it required me to have Chemo and full bod radiation. I have some difficulty with balance and a little with walking.
Any one else have similar issues?

I had AML 3 years ago now along with chemo and stem cell transplant. I developed Neuropathy in my feet real bad, so bad I went to a neurologist and he prescribed gabapentin which didn’t work. Then he tried Lyrica and that was a nightmare for me as I was stumbling and dizzy, just like I was drunk! So I stopped that after a week.
I went to a podiatrist and she gave me a sample of K5 ! It is for neuropathy relief and skin repair, she put some on and when I walked out the door a few minutes later some of the pain was gone. Later that night I put more on along as in the morning. By that afternoon I told my wife that I felt like I could walk 5 miles!!!
I hope this helps others and you can find it on Amazon.

i have had every possible side effect of my chemo/transplant/chemo.
now i “only” have severe peripheral neuropathy in both hands.
-my classical piano career is over. 😜
- my dream of being a NFL Quarterback in gone. 😀😀
- as well as pitching for the yankees😀
of course i’m 82,years old, 5 foot five, 145 lbs and i never did any of those things before.
however i’m in total remission for almost 2 years. and would have it no other way. i’ll gladly deal with my painful numb hands…ha ha.
