Members shared deeply personal experiences and varying approaches to masking with CLL, revealing a spectrum of practices from always masking in public to rarely or never wearing one, with many finding a middle ground of masking in crowded indoor spaces, during outbreaks, or after personal scares like hospitalization or severe COVID cases. Several members emphasized practical habits beyond masks, including frequent handwashing, sanitizing, avoiding crowds, maintaining distance, staying current on vaccines, and boosting immune systems through vitamins and healthy living. A recurring theme was mutual respect for individual choice, with members acknowledging that everyone's immune system, risk tolerance, and lived experience with illness shapes their own protective strategies.

I got covid before I was vaccinated, and got it again after I was vaccinated. The vaccines purpose is to lessen the effects of the virus. I had very little problems with the virus, but I had terrible reactions to the vaccine. We are all uniquely different.

I wear a mask when going in any crowded places. Sadly, I had COVID in October and even though I was vaccinated, I still was ill with it for three weeks and then got a secondary infection in my ear which lasted another two weeks so I do not take the chance. When inside with other people other than my family and at church, I wear a mask but even when I don't, I make it my business to not get close to people.

Even during Covid I didn't wear a mask. My bosses kinda lightened up because they knew I was just going to take it off. But 80% of my time I was alone in a big cooler.
People I was working with all time was getting COVID.i never did.. Only time I really did was when I went to a Dr. Appointment..
But we haven't had to do that anymore..
Don't see where wearing a piece of paper on my face was going to help lol.
Besides you would have to change a mask every 30.
To keep it sanitary..
I could go on but,, I'm not going to.
Hugs and prayers everyone
Mark ❤️
I'm sorry I just gotta say this.
All the people that wouldn't even visit there own families. Unbelievable
Me and my children and grandchildren will stick together. No matter what the government has to say.. Divide and Conquer
Or stand strong together.
Sorry once again I don't like to talk about government or politics... But I do have strong opinion that a lot of folks don't agree with. ❤️
