Last week I had a molar removed. I didn’t have much choice bc the root was fractured probably when the root canal was done.
I have one more mystery tooth issue but need to heal first.
You should’ve had FISH test results by now.
Do you have an app or website to view all tests? Are you going to a general oncologist? I go to Rutgers.
On an unrelated note, I started IVIg infusions yesterday for antibodies to help me fight infections.
It was a piece of cake and look forward to many more. Maybe this winter I will be able to be indoor with crowds!
Lastly I’ve agreed to participate in a phase 3 trial for treatment. You can only join one if you’re previously untreated. In addition to the hope of MRD I look forward to smaller nodes, normal wbc, no anemia or fatigue. Lastly, I will be closely monitored and the drug company pays for all meds and testing!

How did your appt go? So far mine has been not very informative. I see in my regular blood test WBC and lymphocytes are somehow back to normal but been waiting on CLL FISH test results for over 3 weeks now.

My quarterly appt is in a few weeks. I won’t be surprised if it’s time to start treatment. I plan to resist as long as possible though. Thank you Karl

Hello Susan, I am a watch and wait as well. My girlfriend's husband passed away from aggressive AML, when she looks back at it one of the first symptoms they noticed was awful teeth pain. No one diagnosed him properly, they thought he just had some sort of bad teeth. Finally, after the teeth pain got to be unbearable and his face swelled up like a balloon is when they did the proper testing and found the AML, by then it was too late for him. Go get the needed blood work and make sure it is just a tooth ache and to rule out that you are no longer watch and wait. Not trying to worry you but rather you be safe than sorry.
