I know about low energy. Last year I wanted to get back to using the tread mill. In the past I would use an elliptical and run a mile in 9 1/2 minutes. So I decided to walk 3 MPH and after 10 minutes I was breathing hard. After many months I can do an hour without much trouble. I think as time passes a person can increase their ability to improve their health. I do take many vitamins and supplements and I have not been ill during the past 2 years. I think taking vitamin B and B complex helps as much as drinking a glass of coffee in the morning. Last summer I could split oak for 2 hours without becoming extremely tired. Now after 15 minutes of splitting oak my breathing changes but when I relax it quietly returns to normal. I hope people can pace themselves and find a method of improving their health. I realize that I only have two speeds : SLOW & STOP. We team members should be happy with our accomplishments and set goals which are not Olympic but easy for an improvement.

Please tell her she is not alone and that these are “normal” symptoms for someone with CLL. It tends to come and go. Remind her it’s okay to modify activities and take rest times when she feels the need. Monitoring bloodwork with her doctor will help her stay on top of things and allow the doctor to stay on top of her condition. ❤️

Yes, for some people shortness of breath is part of their CLL symptoms. Make sure your oncologist knows, so they can make sure to address any issues needing medical attention. Bill460,
Your wife is lucky to have your support through this.😊 I hope all goes well.
