We focus on physical health issues because we have to. But what about spiritual health? I define spiritual health as my relationship with my Higher Power, call it what you will. With prayer as a given what else do YOU do to safeguard your spiritual health? Read scriptures? Meditate? What? Share it here 😀

Members shared meaningful ways they protect their spiritual health while living with serious illness, with faith, prayer, and community playing a central role for many. Several members described leaning on fellowship groups, praying the rosary, reading scripture like Matthew 6:34, and trusting in a higher power's plan as sources of deep comfort and peace. A recurring theme was gratitude and perspective, with members choosing to focus on making moments count, helping others, and finding joy in family, rest, and connection.

I am part of a community of believers wth hurts, habits and hangups. This really helps me because they are also praying for me. I don’t know how I would do this without my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is right here with me through each and every step.

I try to stay grateful. I was diagnosed at 51 and now 64, no treatment as of yet. I have experienced shortness of breath, anemia, etc. But all in all feel lucky.
One thing I learned after diagnosed, do not take things for granted, everything is for our good and trust.
Also that the junk we collect and buy is really not needed.
Retired this year so that I could spend time e with my husband and family. I swear I am busier then when I worked. I appreciate all the info and people on this site.
