I have CLL and I have had a total knee replacement last year on Valentines Day.
I asked my oncologist before scheduling the TKR and she said all my bloodwork showed I was stable, so I could confidently have the knee replacement. The biggest concern is infection, but my replacement went smoothly. I am grateful 🙏 I had it doe. The was one unexpected issue. My body reacted to the prosthetic so I have some leftover swelling, but other than that, all is good!
