In my experience, a bone marrow biopsy is quite painful but, if the doctor knows what they’re doing, it is over pretty quickly. I have some soreness for a few days after.

Not really all that bad. They usually give you something to relax and then numb up the area. I have never been put to sleep. It’s the anticipation of what’s about to happen. You will be a little sore for a few days. Very informative information comes from this test. Take a deep breath. You got this.
