Great question and the answers are enlightening too! My “religious” upbringing consisted of attending Lutheran church services most Sunday’s and for sure Christmas and Easter. I made a choice to stop attending church when I discovered I could have a more profound relationship with God and Spirit directly through giving thanks and daily prayer. He and my spirit guides who’s unwavering energies (my Mom and her twin Sister) have been with me throughout many journeys and continue to be with me as my life unfolds. I am so very blessed. I hope others find their way to peace through whatever source gives you comfort and hope and love!
Amen we are not alone
Good Morning fellow MyLeukemiaTeam members, I trust ya'll are doing well today. If not well, at least in good spirits. I say this because, ATITUDE is extremely important when it comes to dealing with leukemia.
If you feel down and depressed about your situation, ask yourself "why do I feel this way. And what can I do to change it. If you can do something about your situation, change it, just do it.... if not, forget it. This mindset can be summed up into a few words... called the Serenity Prayer.
God created a world which was perfect in every way. Then sin entered into the heart of man causing chaos, diseases, sickness and death. Remember, God has not abandoned you as you travel on the leukemia journey, He is right with you. He will give you strength and endurance. Never give up, keep fighting and fighting as if your life depends on it. And it does!
Isaiah 41:10 "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand".
May God bless keep you now and always.
I can sympathize. I was Catholic for a long time. Now it's a personal connection, just God and me 🙏😊 and my spiritual teacher.
I try to live in the manner in which I try to encourage others who I share my faith with:
First: Trust God
Second: Trust your doctor, whom God gave the wisdom to heal you.
Third: Love what life you have
Fourth: Be Grateful, Happy, Positive, Courageous, Loving and Kind
But above all else....TRUST GOD, for in the end it is all in His hands
