So sorry to hear you have it. 😗 I have not had autoimmune Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I do have osteoarthritis and that is painful enough. I hope you find some relief for your symptoms and pain. Good Luck!!! Sending you a big hug and prayers!!!
I was dx'd with RA about 15 years ago. Also dx'd with a rare autosomal recessive kidney disorder (Cystinuria) 50 years ago at age 17, and Autoimmune Thyroiditis about 30 years ago. It seems I am a genetic mess, LOL. I have had elevated WBC count for the last 11 years. I kept asking my doctors why the high WBC's. They would always say: it's "probably... the meds you are on or the RA or Fibromyalgia or it's a leap year"....etc. I finally pressed for a definitive answer. My labs confirmed CLL. I have now probably had CLL for at least 10 years. I don't know where that puts me as far as prognosis/time. I do have some B-symptoms that the doctor has brushed off so she still has me in the "watch and wait" category. I have good days and bad days. Today is a good day and I'll take it.
My family did not have the arthritis gene so this never occurred?
I had RA years ago. I still do. However, I also have scleroderma, another rare autoimmune disease with no cure and little treatment. I don’t know if one led to the other or what. I have CMML2.
I developed Giant Cell Arteritis (GCA) which is blood clots in my temporal vein. Among I the things it can cause is instantaneous permanent blindness? How many others with CLL developed this condition?
