Mental health directly impacts both physical and spiritual health. Personally hobbies do me a world of good. They take my mind off my cancer and provide focus. What do you do to safeguard your mental health? Share it here, give someone else a positive idea

Members shared a wide range of ways they protect their mental health while living with cancer, with faith, hobbies, and connection to others standing out as the most common themes. Several members described finding peace through daily prayer, spending time in nature, walking pets, volunteering, and creative outlets like pottery, photography, crochet, and music. A recurring theme was the power of staying active and engaged, whether through online games, classic TV shows, decluttering, or simply leaning on community support to keep moving forward.

I think a good laugh a day keeps the doctor away!
I love to listen to my music, that always cheers me up or calms me down.
But the main thing that safeguards my mental health is my faith, my family and being able to converse with all of you! 🤗

I volunteer one day a week at a local nursing home. Plus I often help with their outings and pub nights😊. It is very gratifying to help others💖

I work outside everyday, the sun is a factor that is delt with daily wearing uv protective clothing which has to be fire resistant as well. When it’s over a hundred degrees outside, the clothes raise the skin temperature 13 degrees. It’s hot but the workers are safe.

I agree Ajaya!~ I do my Forge of Empires game online and 36 teams of fantasy football to keep me busy. I also like to binge watch series on Netflix.
