I will not drink apple juice anymore. Just the thought of it makes me gag.
I can't have grapefruit with my meds. I miss ruby red grapefruit. 😋
I changed nothing in my eating or drinking habits. That being said, when I was in the hospital i was on a carb restricted diet due to my diabetes, but it had nothing to do with the leukemia or treatments. 6 years later after my ininal diagnosis, i eat what everwhat I'm in the mood for.
If it does not move .... I eat it. I guess we are all different though but being ex military food is food and I am able to tolerate most anything except for the 'Hippy Healthy Food' my adult daughter will eat.
Fortunately I am the same and it brings back one very pleasant memory about the food I used to consume during my brief visits to Canada and the USA. Canada was Clam Chowder Soup and the USA was pancakes all on top of each other for breakfast with Maple Syrup; evenings was Surf and Turf and Prawns the size of a middle finger and unlimited salad, help yourself. Marvellous and entertaing people by speaking English sentences instead of an American Accent. English people do not have an accent its only you lot.
Yes I am advised Grapefruit is a non acceptable fluid to drink if one takes Statins. Have you asked about Sour Cherry Juice ... quite tangy and healthy and good for the joints but always seek advice from a reputable person; in the old days I would consume most anything that didn't move. Marvellous, sadly no longer the case.
