A member shared concern about abnormal lab results after four stable years, and the community quickly rallied with support, encouragement to consult their care team, and tips like writing down questions for the appointment. The good news came when the member returned to share that their oncologist clarified the numbers were actually fine and had simply been misread due to a new portal format. A recurring theme was the value of being your own health advocate, with members sharing helpful tools like using AI programs to help track and understand lab results over time.

Greetings all, I just came home from my Oncology appointment and have the best news ever. All my numbers are good and there is nothing to worry about. God is so good. The numbers that looked askew were really ok after all. I was reading them wrong and my PA explained everything. Thanks to everyone who took the time to care. This really is a caring community. Love you all. Thank you Jesus.

I’ve been using ChatGPT as well… not as much data entered but I love it!! I use the free version- just keep deleting history & I don’t get the prompts to go to the paid version… so far it’s working well for my needs. love it!!

Yes, Patty6 we were overjoyed that we were reading some of the numbers wrong, AZ oncology sold out to City of Hope and their online charts are a little different. Also, some of the new calculations were different. Long story short God is good. Thanks for caring. Stay strong cancer warrior.
